When flood waters rise, we rise up as a community to support people impacted due to recent floods.

When Lismore was hit with disastrous floods, FOIA under the leadership of SEWA international, nearly 50 volunteers made a trip to to Lismore from Sydney multiple times, spending days there helping the communities with cleaning the yards, removing mould from houses, painting houses and shops, setting up distribution wearhouses and also engaging with local communities to provide emotional, financial support in and around Lismore. We donated hundreds pairs of foot wear, cleaning materials, thousands of clothing, food and many other domestic consumables.
