Palliative Care Week

Palliative Care Week

It is not often we see angels roaming the earth unless you happen to be in the palliative ward. Palliate means to reduce the intensity. The palliative care nurses not only alleviate patients’ symptoms but also the grief and suffering of their loved ones. Sometimes their presence might be the first time the caregivers have a chance for a break for themselves. The palliative team inspires us to treat death with dignity for the dying and their families. We at FOIA are grateful for their tireless services. We presented Bankstown and Liverpool Palliative Care with fruit boxes to show our appreciation.
