Interactive
Kick Off Session
HPN curated eight Covid related health education programs over two days. FOIA invited over thirty community organisations for the Come-Unity Interactive Kickoff session to engage various community organisations. The session aimed to highlight what the health education program entailed and for the organisations to disseminate the content to all their members in a culturally appropriate manner. On Saturday, February 12th, 2022, this session was held at Le Beach Hut, Dolls Point. The Honourable Minister Mr Mark Coure, Minister for Multiculturalism and Seniors, was the Chief Guest for the Event. We also had the pleasure of Honourable Councillor Charishma Kaliyanda of Liverpool Council; also an occupational therapist and HPN member, introducing almost twenty organisations in attendance.
The highlight of the kickoff session was welcoming all these organisations performing incredible work in one room despite their multiple commitments. We all established our shared value of SERVICE in an interactive tool, Mentimeter, that evening. The energy in the room enabled all the organisations to forge ahead with the momentum we instigated with the upcoming eight Covid related health education sessions.
