Sydney Strikers have been playing and organising tennis ball cricket tournament for last 27 years. With a very close knit family circle of more than 40 families, we are about 150-200 people who actively conduct / participate in the cricket and other sporting activities. As part of the annual cricket tournament held in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, more than 500 people from all age group take part, bringing the wider Indian community together.

From FOI perspective we have a great opportunity to integrate Sydney strikers under FOI banner, which not only integrates Sydney strikers family with FOI family but also strengthens FOI. Sydney strikers is also a huge potential in that, FOI can leverage the enthusiasm and interest in sports from Sydney strikers to conduct sports activities under FOI to serve the purpose of FOI through sports.Through this FOI can open up another channel to bring Indians together not only in Sydney, but also in Melbourne and Adelaide.
